Meet the face
behind the blog

Hey, I'm Abigail Coale of Abidoodle Productions! I'm a queer & chronically ill wedding videographer & lifestyle photographer based in Annapolis, MD. I am so excited to bring my love of building relationships and lifting up wedding creatives to the DMV Wedding Blog!

In November 2020, I looked around and found it incredibly difficult to find wedding vendors who were LGBTQ+ affirming and advocating for our friends in all marginalized communities. That frustration has only grown as people refuse to speak out for Black lives matter, our AAPI communities, and threats against the rights of people with disabilities. I wanted to do more to make sure there was a safe space in the wedding industry where all people could see themselves represented.

And further, I wanted there to be another space to educate wedding professionals. I myself am still learning, and expect to be held accountable if I get something wrong. But if there's anything the DMV Wedding Blog can offer to make the wedding industry a little bit better, I think it's worth it. I'm so glad you're here too.
